Argon Welder
Job Description
As an Argon Welder professional, you will be responsible for assembling pieces of metal or repairing damage in metal components using heavy machinery. Your job includes reviewing blueprints, cutting the metal into appropriate shapes, and smoothing molten metal.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible to join metal parts and components using an argon welder
- Understanding of the argon welding process and being able to set up and adjust the welding machine accordingly.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to identify the weld points and angles
- Select the correct type of welding wire, rods, and other supplies needed for the job
- Use proper safety equipment and techniques when welding, such as wearing protective clothing, goggles, and face shields
- Must inspect their work regularly to ensure that it meets the required standards and specifications
- Must also be able to troubleshoot any welding problems and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Keep the welding equipment clean and in good working order
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- They must be able to work with a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and copper
Skill Require
- Proven experience as a welder
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
