Light Driver
Job Description
As a light driver, your job will be to securely transport the company’s employees, as well as a wide range of products and materials, to designated destinations within the scheduled timeframe. Provide assistance with the handling and transfer of staff belongings, products, and materials. Adjust travel routes to circumvent any potential traffic jams or roadwork.
Key Responsibilities
- To transport personnel and materials to and from different project sites
- You must ensure that the vehicles are clean and in good working condition and that all safety protocols are followed while driving
- You are required to follow the traffic rules and regulations and adhere to the speed limits while driving
- You need to ensure that all necessary documents such as vehicle registration, insurance, and permits are updated and in order
- You must maintain a logbook to record the distance traveled, fuel consumption, and other information related to the vehicle.
- You are responsible for loading and unloading of materials from the vehicles and delivering them to the designated locations
- You are also responsible for reporting any mechanical issues with the vehicles and ensuring that they are fixed in a timely manner
- You must be aware of safety and security protocols and ensure that the vehicles are used in a safe and responsible manner.
- You may also be required to perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

- The ability to manage your time and plan your day effectively
