Job Description
As a foreman, you will be creating and maintaining all the construction work process. You will be assigning tasks to workers and be the intermediary between construction workers and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations and activities of a construction site.
- Ensure that all safety regulations are adhered to and that all construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure that all materials and tools are available for each job, as well as maintain good working relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
- Responsible for providing clear direction and instructions to their team and to ensure that all tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.
- Ensure good communication between the workers and the project manager.
- Must be able to read and understand technical specifications and drawings and be able to communicate these instructions to workers.
- Must also be able to effectively manage their time and resources to get the job done on time.
- Able to delegate tasks and duties to their team and be able to resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
- Must be able to maintain a safe and secure work environment and be able to identify potential risks and hazards.
- Must be able to handle customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
